Rotary shaft seals OC FKM-75

Rotary shaft seal also known as Oil seals, compression glands, simmer rings etc.

Rotary shaft seals type OC in FKM-75 (brown) is a single acting standard rotary shaft seal that consist of a closed metal cased housing with a metal insert and a sealing lip with a spring. The reinforced closed metal cased housing makes this seal more rigid and creates a tight and accurate fitting.
The FKM material can be used for application with higher temperatures, higher speed and more aggressive media compared to the NBR material.

The spring is made of stainless steel (AISI 304).

The Rotary shaft seal is designed to seal against grease, oil and water in rotary applications. A standard oil seal ring is designed to run at a maximum pressure of 0.5 bar.

APPLICATION
Used in almost every industry as a good reliable sealing in rotating machines, shafts, axles, power tools and gearboxes. Often used in heavy engineering applications, agricultural and forestry machinery.

INSTALLATION
Installation according to DIN 3760. It is very important that the assembly tools must be of soft material and have no sharp edges. Before installation all individual parts of the seal must be oiled with system oil.

NOTES
OC has a limited resistant to thin fluid and should not be used in very dusty environments.
