Rotary shaft seals OBU NBR-70

Rotary shaft seals, also known as oil seals, compression glands, simmer rings etc.

Rotary shaft seal type OBU in NRB-70 (black) is a single-acting standard rotary shaft seal that consists of a metal-cased housing and a sealing lip, without a spring.

The Rotary shaft seal is designed to seal against grease, oil and water in rotary applications. A standard oil seal ring is designed to run at a maximum pressure of 0.5 bar.

APPLICATION
Used in almost in every industry as a good reliable sealing in rotating machines, shafts, axles, power tools and gearboxes. Often used in heavy engineering application and agricultural machinery.

INSTALLATION
Installation according to DIN 3760. It is very important that the assembly tools must be of soft material and have no sharp edges. Before installation all individual parts of the seal must be oiled with system oil.

NOTES
OBU has a limited resistance to low-viscosity fluid and should not be used in very dusty environments.
