Fitting Seals, also called ED Seals, according to DIN 3869. These elastomer seals are used as axial static seals for threaded ports and stud ends in hydraulic fluid power applications. The cross-section remains practically constant even under high pressure.

APPLICATION
Injection moulding machines, agricultural machinery, presses, valves for hydraulic circuits and standard cylinders.
INSTALLATION
Generally, this fitting seal is easily fitted into the application. Do not damage the profile sealing ring during installation, as this may cause leakage. On the surface to be sealed, grooves, cavities and scratches are to be avoided. Unlike O-rings, this fitting profile seal should not be greased before installation, and the same applies to the installation housing.
