Rotary shaft seals OAU FKM-75

Rotary shaft seals, also known as oil seals, compression glands, simmer rings etc.

Rotary shaft seal type OAU in FKM-80 (brown) is a single-acting rotary shaft seal that consists of a rubber-coated metal housing and a sealing lip without a spring, which produces less friction and therefore less heat. The FKM material can be used for applications at higher temperatures, higher speed and in more aggressive media compared to the NBR material.

The Rotary shaft seal is designed to seal against grease, oil and water in rotary applications. A standard oil seal ring is designed to run at a maximum pressure of 0.5 bar.

APPLICATION
Used in almost every industry as a good reliable sealing in rotating machines, shafts, axles, power tools and gearboxes.

INSTALLATION
Installation according to DIN 3760. It is very important that the assembly tools must be of soft material and have no sharp edges. Before installation all individual parts of the seal must be oiled with system oil.

NOTES
OAU should not be used in dusty environments.
