Rotary shaft seal OC PT

OC PT seals are also known as oil seals, compression glands, simmer rings, etc.

An OC PT type rotary shaft seals is a single-acting standard rotary shaft seal, which consists of a stainless steel metal-case, a PTFE sealing lip and a rubber static sealing element.

Several variants of this sealing type are available for use in a wide range of applications.

APPLICATION
Used in almost every industry as a good and reliable sealing in rotary machines, shafts, axles, power tools and gearboxes, bearings seals, machine tools, vacuum pumps and hydraulic motors and pumps. Often used in heavy industry applications and in agricultural machinery.

INSTALLATION
Fit in accordance with DIN 3760. It is very important that the assembly tools are made of soft material and have no sharp edges. Before fitting, lubricate the seal with system oil.

NOTES
PTFE with different fillings and seals with two or more lips are available for applications with more stringent sealing requirements.
